Who this is for
Pick where you are right now
Earn while you study
A degree tells an employer what you studied. A skill shows what you can do today. Most students leave school with the first and start looking for the second.
You can build both at the same time. Our training fits around your lectures, and the skills are the kind you can practise on a laptop or even a phone.
- Learn one digital or AI skill well enough to be paid for it
- Open a freelance profile and publish your first service
- Build a portfolio you can show any employer after school
- Learn to speak, sell and lead a team through network marketing
Make your service year count
Your service year has free afternoons and a clear end date. The question most corps members carry is what happens the month after passing out.
Use the year to build something that continues after it. A skill, a profile with reviews, and clients who already know your work will still be there when the allowance stops.
- Train after your PPA hours and on CDS-free days
- Start earning in dollars from clients outside Nigeria
- Pass out with a working freelance profile and a portfolio
- Build a team and a second income through network marketing
Freelancing explained
You sell a skill to clients online, one project at a time
Think of a tailor who sews for many customers and is not employed by one fashion house. A freelancer works the same way, except the customers are online and can be in Lagos, London or Texas. You agree a job and a price, do the work on your laptop, and get paid for that job.
- STEP 1
Learn a skill people pay for
For example designing a website, a logo or a flyer, or setting up an automation for a business.
- STEP 2
Open a profile
You join a marketplace such as Fiverr or Upwork and show samples of your work. It works like a shop front.
- STEP 3
Agree the job
A client finds your service or you apply to their job post. You agree the work, the price and the deadline.
- STEP 4
The client pays first
The client pays the marketplace before you start. The marketplace holds the money while you work, so you are protected.
- STEP 5
Deliver the work
You send the finished work through the marketplace. The client checks it and approves.
- STEP 6
Get paid
The marketplace releases your money after taking its fee. You withdraw it through a payment service such as Payoneer.
What it takes
Freelancing is real work. Your first order can take weeks to arrive, and clients pay for quality, so the skill has to be good before the money comes.
That is why we train the skill first, then the profile, then how to write proposals and talk to clients. Petronix has worked this way with clients on Fiverr and Upwork for years, and we teach what we do every day.
Example order: logo design on Fiverr
- Client pays
- $50.00
- Marketplace fee (20%)
- −$10.00
- You receive
- $40.00
An illustration of how one order is split. Prices depend on the skill and on you.

Network marketing explained
A business built on products, customers and a team you train
Some companies do not sell through shops and adverts. They sell through independent distributors who recommend the products to people they know. That is network marketing.
How it works
You become a distributor of a company's products. You earn in two ways. The first is from products you sell to customers. The second is from the sales of the people you bring in, train and support, because the company pays you for building and leading that team.
Freelancing pays you for your own hours. A trained team keeps selling when you are in a lecture or at your PPA. We teach both because each one covers what the other lacks.
The lessons also transfer. Speaking to strangers, presenting, following up and leading people are the same skills that win freelance clients and job interviews.
Straight talk
Network marketing is not a salary and it is not quick money. Income comes from real products that customers buy and use. It does not come from collecting fees from recruits, and any scheme that pays only for recruiting should be avoided.
People who learn the skills and work consistently build something. People who sign up and do nothing earn nothing. We will tell you that on the first day.
Our team works with NeoLife, a nutrition and wellness products company. Network marketing is a required part of this programme, so everyone who joins does it alongside their freelance skill. If you want only one of the two, this programme is not the right fit.
- Rich Dad's Cashflow QuadrantRobert T. Kiyosaki
Describes four ways people earn: as an employee, self-employed, a business owner or an investor. We use it to show where freelancing and team building sit.
- The Business of the 21st CenturyRobert T. Kiyosaki
Makes the case that network marketing is a low-cost way for ordinary people to learn how a business is built.
- Go ProEric Worre
Treats network marketing as a profession with skills you can learn, from finding people to talk to through to following up.
- Your First Year in Network MarketingMark Yarnell and Rene Reid Yarnell
Covers the setbacks most beginners face, including rejection, and how to keep going through them.
- The 45 Second Presentation That Will Change Your LifeDon Failla
Shows how to explain the business simply enough that the next person can explain it too.

Questions
What people ask first
Is it really free?
The seminar, the training and the mentoring are free, and we charge no registration fee. Network marketing with NeoLife is a required part of the programme, and at the seminar we explain exactly what registering as a distributor involves before you commit to anything.
Do I need a laptop?
A laptop helps, especially for web design. You can begin learning AI skills, graphic design and freelance selling with a smartphone and move to a laptop later.
Will this clash with my lectures or my PPA?
No. You train around your own timetable. Our Ondo office opens Monday to Friday, and you come in the hours you are free.
How soon will I earn?
Nobody can promise that. It depends on how well you learn the skill and how consistently you apply. We can promise to teach you properly and review your work until you get there.
Do I have to do both freelancing and network marketing?
Yes. The programme has two parts and every member does both. Freelancing gives you income from your own skill, and network marketing teaches you to sell and lead a team. If you want only one of them, this programme is not for you.
Is network marketing a pyramid scheme?
A pyramid scheme pays people for recruiting and has no real product. Network marketing pays on products that customers buy and use. Ask any company two questions: is there a real product, and are people paid on sales and not on sign-up fees?
